The journey of being a caregiver was given to me at the age of ten years old. My mother had two rare diseases and me being the eldest sibling and only daughter, I became her personal caregiver. I made sure my mother had her meals, reminded her to take her medications, changed her wound dressings, kept the house clean, but most importantly talked to her and showed her love. My mother often told me I had what it took to become a nurse. While taking care of my mother, I developed a desire to become a nurse. I went to nursing school shortly after graduating from high school. My nursing career has allowed me to work in many areas in the healthcare setting, but patient/client care has always been my focus. Knowing from the personal and professional side of what it means to be a caregiver. Throughout my nursing career I have had the opportunity to take care of all types of individuals. I have always tried to provide compassionate, quality, and safe care to my patients and/or clients.

Now my career is focusing on Homecare. There is a major need for homecare services in the Mississippi market. We provide homecare services such as meal preparation, hygiene care, medication reminder, light housekeeping and etc These services can be provided after being discharged from the hospital, rehab facility, residing in an assistant living facility, nursing home, or at home.

Although I have been a nurse for over 30 years, being a caregiver was my beginning. I hope I have given you an insight into who I am as a caregiver, nurse, and homecare owner. I look forward to offering you or your loved one our homecare services.
